Today is All Your Birthdays

Nerdy and intelligent members of Uncalled For

After a hugely successful run with Blastback Babyzap in last year’s Fringe and winning the title of Best of the Fest at the Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival in December, Uncalled For returns to defend its status as one of the most innovative and reliable sketch troupes in the country with *Today Is All Your Birthdays*.

What sets their latest sketch revue apart from the competition is the intelligent and nerdy humour in which it revels - never before have Darwin, the Large Hadron Collider, and the space time continuum been so funny. Uncalled For’s all-male cast (it varies depending on which of their members are available) exude a dedication to their art that is both impressive and engaging. It is obvious that within each of the performers is an apt and expert actor. Collectively they guide the audience through a literally seamless (their segues are almost worth the price of admission alone) series of loosely related sketches that almost never end on a punchline but almost always deliver the goods. There are a couple of slow points near the beginning of the hour but they quickly pick up the slack and finish strong. This is sketch that treats the audience like adults, but leaves them giggling like children.

_Uncalled For Presents: Today is All Your Birthday, is part of this year's Toronto Fringe Festival and continues until July 12th._
