"Sperm Wars" is written and Performed by Jeff Leard. “Sperm Wars” is funny, smart, well paced and Jeff Leard is brilliant. Leard's sound effects ability alone should garner him an award.

The premises is silly, but you don’t need to be a "Star Wars" fan to be a “Sperm Wars” fan. The absurdity and complexity of our reproductive systems is enough fodder for Leard’s imagination to take us on a journey through the space time continuum. Leard gives it all a Shakespearean touch and acknowledges the audience and his acting when a sound effect goes wrong or he gets the giggles. He also plays with the concept of the “pregnant pause” ….very clever indeed.

If you want a laugh and squirm when words erectile and fluidity are spoken then this is the play for you. May the force be with you.
