Innocent When You Dream - Hilarious Comedy

"It's hard to move on when you're all alone in the belly of a whale." says Ishmael ("you can call me Jonah") who has found himself trapped inside the belly of a whale brandishing a couple of bestsellers with nothing to eat but some soggy saltines.  Apparently the last thing Jonah remembers he was madly in love and then suddenly he was swallowed by a whale.

Innocent When You Dream asks the question, if the one you love isn't loving you back, does that mean your love was never real?:  "I can't believe that wasn't real.  I won't believe it because then what does that make me?  Some castaway."

Jonah, condemned to spend his time trapped inside the belly of a whale, reads Don Quixote and Moby Dick over and over and over again.  He mulls over his lost relationship with his faithful squire Pancho and laments his fate with his chief mate Starbuck.  Saltines long gone he can't understand why he remains inside the belly of a whale.  "I hardly think of her all the time anymore."

Hailing from Austin, Texas, Zeb West is an extremely talented and engaging performer who tells his tale with great aplomb using absolutely hilarious comedy, music, mask and puppetry.

I laughed my head off during this show and came out singing.  I'm still singing now.

"If the one that you love doesn't give a f**k.  If the one that you love doesn't give a f**k.  If the one that you love doesn't give a f**k about you anymore."

"She's probably eatin' a bagel not givin' a f**k..."
