BONUS REVIEW - High Tea

Fringe Description: Funny · Family Friendly · Intellectual
I haven't had the pleasure of seeing James Brown and Jamesy Evans before but clearly there were many in the opening night audience who were well prepared for the audience participation opportunities. Make sure you sit in the front row if you want to participate.  Costumes are provided.

I don't normally choose to watch physical comedy but I was in the presence of true masters and I was won over. Watching Jamesy get stuck in the fourth wall was memorable as was the wonder on his face when he saw the audience for the first time.

The precision of their work is impressive as is the way they were able to take us all along on the kind of interesting imaginary adventures that I haven't experienced since childhood. We experienced the theatre filled with tea from the bottomless tea pot and while our cast was submerged the dialogue sounded like it came from underwater.  How did they do that?  Unbelievable, truly.
