This one man play is an adaptation of Kafka's story of Red Peter, a captured ape who realizes that the only way to stay out of the zoo is to become human enough to perform as an ape-turned-human on the vaudeville stage. Report to an Academy is as thought provoking as it is humorous. Through the ape metamorphosis, this adaptation explores the very essence of what it is to be human.
