Biography

Andrew is a Vancouver-based playwright and writer who has had plays produced in both Vancouver, Canada and London, UK. Past productions include Branwell Alone, Howard Johnson Commits Suicide and Portia, My Love (nominated for a Jessie for Outstanding Original Script). His most recent play, This Mortal Flesh was included in the 2005 New Play Festival and is scheduled for production during the 08/09 Season at the Firehall Arts Centre. He is currently developing two new plays, The Last Occupant of Troy and Simon Magus and a musical Tin. His writing on theatre has been published in the Vancouver Courier, the Canadian Theatre Review and the Australian-based RealTime.


Andrew also develops and delivers press and marketing strategies for theatre and dance companies and for independent filmmakers. His clients have included Radix, Felix Culpa, Mad Duck, Damfino Theatre, Ensemble Theatre, Tempus Theatre, Mentors Projects, Les Productions Figlio, Compaigni V’ni Dansi, the NOW Orchestra and Proximity Arts.
