Peter 'n' Chris Save the World: mind blown

Peter 'n' Chris

If laughter is the best medicine, then this hilarious two-hander, action-packed adventure is sure to heal your every ailment – giving you the power to help these two crazy guys on their mission to save the world!

With a delightfully absurd storyline that includes choreographed umbrella dances, machine-gun wielding brain excavators, talking dogs and an underground composting operation, Peter ‘n’ Chris Save the World! is definitely one comedy that should not be missed at this year’s Vancouver Fringe Festival.

These two guys are exceptional. Crazy, but nonetheless, exceptional. From the moment they hit the stage until the moment they leave, Peter and Chris are on fire, bouncing off each other’s energy like two school boys with severe ADD – and it’s fantastic!

Peter and Chris play several characters throughout the course of the show and their performance is outstanding, their timing impeccable. Whether they take on another person, an animal or mineral (yes, Peter actually plays a hand basin and a mirror – and very believably!) the boys do not miss a beat, switching from one convincing character to the next in the blink of an eye. And the same goes for scene transitions – but the boys will tell you how they feel about those!

The lighting cues are tight, and the use of well-known movie sound-tracks to increase the mood and tension is superb, all of which add extraordinary comic value to this show.

So if you want to know if these boys actually save the world, they do! But how?

This was my first encounter with Peter and Chris and they really did blow my mind.  Make sure you get along to experience the power these two superheroes have to offer!
