What do you do when the grim reaper is after you? Hide in the bathroom with a Whoopee-Cushion of course!

Mrs Fischer is a fighter (and a prankster). Death is chasing her down but she has plans to hold it at bay. She knows how tricky death is and foils the plan every time with her hilarious antics. She is distrustful of everyone and everything and this works to her advantage.

We follow the transformation of this wonderful character from weak widow to Hells Granny. With her survival instincts having kicked in, she has gathered her weapons and her newly found self empowerment and purchased some precious time.
Death, (or "Grim") forgets his duties and finds himself attracted to this very special old lady. The reaper falls for Mrs Fischer who's new tenacity for life is irresistible!

The masks in this human-puppetry performance are so realistic and expressive that we almost believe them to be animated, and the interplay of lighting and sound create the illusion of scene change.

The show is both unique and entertaining and the performances by Kate Braidwood and Andrew Phoenix make Grim and Fischer a must see in the 2011 Fringe Festival!

Running time: 55 minutes.
