Kudos to this show. It is

Kudos to this show. It is worth seeing if only for the acting, but there is more in each of the three monologues to compel. Two of the sets are from established scripts. Alicia Novak should get special mention for presenting her own work (Tight Rope). She creates laughs and sympathy for her tenuous internet college porn slut. Both Evan Frayne (Letter from a Soldier)and Marisa Smith(Susan Smith Tapes)are restaging pior shows, but these remounts at the Fringe are worthwhile. For my eye Marisa Smith seemed a tad too on the slender side to stand in for the real character but she is in full possession of the startling moments that the script contains. Evan Frayne’s soldier is particularly poignant. The in-between-acts band(Hemlocks) had nice sounds though in this venue they would be helped if the vocals were miked.
